Providing Care For the Elderly In Essex

We have a permanent staff; some members of the team have been working here for many years. Between us we have considerable experience to draw upon and we all genuinely gain great satisfaction from giving the best service possible.

The registered manager and proprietor Peter Warmerdam bought the home from its previous owners in 2005. He is supported in his work by three deputy managers: Linda, Lorraine and Teresa, full and part time care assistants, cooks, housekeepers, activities co-ordinator (We provide an activities programme) A maintenance man/gardener and visiting district nurses (when needed).

We have a robust recruitment and selection process which ensures that all our staff are well suited to working with vulnerable people. Training and development are a high priority for us and there are ample opportunities for staff to improve their skills and knowledge in line with residents changing needs. Everyone working directly with residents has the appropriate National Vocational Qualification for their job as well as specialist training in caring for people with dementia.
